A Custom One Of A Kind from Pork Pie & Gruv-X

Here we have a complete custom one off snare drum from the guys at Pork Pie and Gruv-X. This is a monster 24 ply snare drum with the exact same shell build as an X-Click. Like the Click the drum is 24 plies of Maple with two plies of copper, the lay up is 8 ply Maple / 1 Ply Copper / 8 Ply Maple / 1 Ply Copper / 8 Ply Maple. This drum is phenomenally heavy and sounds fantastic! Like all the Click Mate snare drums this one has a matching X-Click included, the finish is Shadow Maple and the fittings are Gun Metal.

X-Click, Extreme Cross Stick Percussion Accessory (Matching Click Included)

GRUX-X was founded in 2020 by Professional Drummer & Drum Product Design Guru Russ Miller and Drum Building Extraordinaire Bill Detamore (Pork Pie)

For the X-Click, GRUV-X designed a hybrid formula of 24-plies of American rock maple and copper in a trapezoid shaped body. For mounting these on to drums a proprietary mount, called the “Mono Mount” was designed. There is a special suspension washer made from silicone between the mount and the X-Click which floats the X-Click from the mount thus improving the resonance and frequency response too.

The X-Click's revolutionary design will give expanded volume and boosted low-frequencies to your cross stick sound on any snare drum. This helps the cross stick tone with execution consistency and also boosts the volume of your cross stick sound. Audio engineers are going to love this product too because the X-Click will eliminate the need to ride the snare drum mic channel, live and in the studio during the cross stick sections of songs.
