British Drum Company have launched a great deal of new drums and hardware during Winter NAMM 2020. Here we have the first details about the highly anticipated Casino Hardware.

The Casino Hardware has been launched to coincide with BDC's new Palladium Bass Drum Mount and Tom Holders meaning that drummers now have a full range of hardware solutions available to utilise when building their dream kit. 

So far details have been released about the following pieces:

• CAS-HW-SP - Single Bass Drum Pedal
  
• CAS-HW-DP - Double Bass Drum Pedal
• CAS-HW-SS - Snare Drum Stand With Quick Release
• CAS-HW-HH - Hi-Hat Stand
• CAS-HW-BS - Boom Stand

(We also believe there will be a stand alone single and double tom stand)

The stand out design feature and completely unique innovation built in to these stands is the built in dice which are visible on every separate section of the stand. BDC have placed a memory lock on every moving section of the stands, we all know that if you use these memory locks that stands have to be packed away in sections (rather than collapsed) This means that the stands have to be labelled in order to match up the correct pieces, this can become a very messy issue when resorting to sticky tape and labels which rub off and eventually leave sticky residue all over your stands. Another issue is when you are using several similar looking stands. With Casino you can set all the respective pieces of a stand to share a number from 1 to 6 on the outward facing dice. This enables fast set up and exact replication of all your stand settings AND for all of your stands. The dice supplied as standard is a red colour, got more than six stands? BDC will supply you dice in other colours so you can keep adding and referencing your stands firstly by number and secondly by colour. How clever is this!

The initial range of Casino Stands has been designed to be a tour ready grade double braced series. BDC have gone for straight double braced legs, gearless tilters and memory locks that echo the art deco styling seen throughout the Palladium series hardware. We think there is going to be a huge demand for these stands not only from BDC drum set owners but also from many gigging drummers who can relate to many of the issues these stands are designed to solve.

In 2019 we were proud to be named British Drum Company's Global Retailer of the Year. For 2020 we already have big plans to further enhance the Drumazon / BDC experience.
