REBEL CUSTOM SHOP BIRCH / MAHOGANY
This is the Birch / Mahogany Rebel set with 5 ply shells. This kit was specifically brought over for the UK Drum Show and Rhythm Review. The kit is finished in the highest specification DS offer which is an Exotic Lacquer. This one is a Mapa Burl outer veneer with a stunning Green to Natural Fade lacquer paint finish. The birch / mahogany shell blend delivers exactly what you would expect, there is the birch attack that makes these a great drum under microphones combined with additional low end warmth which is delivered from the Mahogany. The bass drums and floor toms particularly benefit from this and it is certainly a popular shell combo with DS artists.
