Here we have a custom order and rare DW Collectors Series II drum kit with pure maple shells finished in Red Silk Onyx with Black Fittings.

Pure Maple Shell

The most popular wood for drum making, maple is a hardwood that produces maximum resonance, projection and attack. Combined with reinforcement hoops, it can produce a more focused sound and is well suited for live and studio applications.

Bearing edges for these drums are 45 degree, while the bass drum is 60 degree. All cuts are from the outer edge of the shell tapered toward the inside of the drums. 

Timbre Matched

All of these shells underwent the DW Timbre-Matching process. Utilizing a digital tuner as part of DW's patented pitch identification procedure, each of these shells is stamped on its sweet spot with the shell's relative note-value.

  • Red Silk Onyx Finish Ply 

  • Fitted with new Evans G1 Coated batter heads (all toms) & EMAD Bass Drum Batter

  • PreLoved - 6/10 Condition - Bass Drum Pedal has been attached to two different places on batter hoop. There are two areas with intense wear (please see pictures) a few lacquer chips on front bass drum hoop. General wear and tear to Black Plated fittings.
