LUDWIG USA CLASSIC MAPLE 4 PIECE DRUM KIT, SILVER SPARKLE, 1997 (PRE-LOVED)

Here we have a very nice Ludwig Classic Maple from 1997. This is a stunning specification in Silver Sparkle Wrap. The kit has Mini Classic Lugs with the Classic Bass Drum, Vibraband Tom Mounts and Classic Bass Drum Spurs (as apposed to the Modular option)

In 1997 the Classic was the 6 ply Maple option (4 ply Maple was offered as the Super Classic), The kit has Telescoping Bass Drum Spurs, 2.3mm Hoops and is in standard size tom options which were quite unusual during this period with a 14 x 13 mounted floor tom.

Sonically this kit sounds exactly as you would expect a Ludwig to - lots of definition and warmth. The sizes will lend themselves very naturally to a wide range of tuning, this kit will happily handle any genre.

This is a great opportunity to get a standard sized Classic from this era with the mini classic lug and vibraband specification. The shells are absolutely immaculate, the lugs are all in great condition and the hoops and vibrabands show light signs of their age. The only real sign of age are the black lacquer hoops which are showing the typical marks from the claw hooks caused from many years of head changes.
