Here we have our first ever CD Maple / Horizon Hybrid set. For this kit we have spec'd CD Maple rack toms with Horizon Floor Toms and Bass Drum. The pure maple toms allow the smaller sizes to open up a little more whilst the Horizon Floor Toms and Bass Drum enjoy the enhanced low end provided from the Mahogany inner plies. Sonically this kit has it all! This one is finished in Noble & Cooley's signature Antique White Gloss. We've gone with Brass Tube lugs and Chrome Die cast hoops

About The CD Maple (8 x 8, 10 x 8 & 12 x 8 Toms)

The CD Maple series has been a mainstay of the Noble & Cooley line continuously since 1983. Among the first modern, high quality all-maple drums sets, these kits have been used by countless players in virtually every type of musical style. Defined by a big, ambient, warm tone and a large tuning range these drums are at home in the studio or on stage.

The CD Maple features 100% Maple shells with a varying ply method depending on the size of drum to maximise the resonance. All toms feature precession RIMS mounting systems with Noble and Cooley's new 'cool mount' adaption.

About the Horizon Series (14 x 14, 16 x 16 & 22 x 18)

The Horizon was originally introduced in the 80's and the company dropped it out of the range in the mid 90's. The kits have always maintained a legendary status because of their Maple/Mahogany hybrid shell, remember in the 80's this was new territory. The shells are constructed horizontally which helps them to resonate more uniformly like the N&C steam bent shells. The inner mahogany offered throughout all the sizes adds a darker tone to the drums, these drums sound great live and in the studio.
