Here we have a very nice and Slingerland Gene Krupa Chrome On Brass Snare drum. The Throw off is original and working. As you would expect the drum sounds phenomenal, very Black Beauty / 402 Brass esque but with that typical dry controlled Slingerland sound, this would be a monster snare in the studio.

At some point in its life the tone control has been removed and the two holes have been fitted with retaining screws. The drum is also etched with the words 'Hit Factory' in two places. This could be in relation to the Hit Factory studios in America, possibly this was part of their studio stock but there is nothing with the drum to confirm any provenance. 

The snare comes with new Evans G1 Batter head, the snare wire is a Ludwig and is in great condition and we would mark this a 7/10 for condition. For anyone looking for a really nice COB snare, this could be a great option!
