Here we have the Tamburo T5LX. The LX version builds on the regular T5 series kit offering upgrades to the finish and hardware.

The T5LX has 7.5mm poplar shells with the same Curve technology found on their top range series kits. Tamburo don't follow the same bearing edge concepts that most other makers adhere to, instead the Curve Edge follows the natural curve of the drum head which Tamburo say offers a better adaption with all types of drum head.

Other nice features on this kit include the rims isolation mounting systems on both toms, pro level inspired bass drum spurs, matching inlay bass drum hoops and a full double braced hardware pack which includes two boom stands, snare drum stand, hi-hat stand, bass drum pedal and drum throne.

This is a great package for anyone looking for a complete 5 piece kit with hardware. Whilst the T5LX is very well priced we would say this is a good step up from a typical entry level kit with lots of professional standard features.
