GRETSCH USA MAPLE STOP SIGN BADGE 1970'S 3 PIECE DRUM KIT, FINISHED IN 'MAPLE' (PRE-LOVED)

Here we have a beautiful Gretsch Stop Sign Badge from the 72-74 era. Everything on this kit is completely original and the set has aged beautifully giving it the look of a true relic.

This kit is the Name Band II configuration, the hardware and specifications put this kit in the 1972-1974 era. The kit features double internal dampeners (top and bottom), original Die Cast hoops, original Floor Tom Brackets, all original Lugs, Bass Drum Claw Hooks, Disappearing Spurs, Rail Consolette tom holder and Stop Sign Badges.

Inside you can see the iconic Gretsch silver sealer, original Gretsch paper badges and twin head tone controls fitted top and bottom of each tom.

The kit is fitted with CS Dot Batters and Resos plus a Remo Clear Ambassador Bass Drum Reso with Black offset Gretsch logo which give this kit a little bit of that Charlie Watts look and of-course ‘that sound’. The kit sounds absolutely as you would expect from this era of Gretsch, an opportunity to get USA Custom build and great character looks too. This will be perfect for many musical applications live or in the studio, a perfect kit to put under mics.
