NOBLE & COOLEY 14 X 8 COPPER CLASSIC SNARE DRUM, CAIRO BLUE SPARKLE WITH COPPER REVEAL, CHROME HARDWARE

Here we have one of the new N&C Copper Classic Snare drums. What is even more exciting is that this one is finished in Cairo Blue Holographic Sparkle with the new N&C reveal badge. These snares have been almost impossible to hold in stock. Many of our scheduled snares on order for the shop sell ahead of arrival, this time around we decided to be brave and ordered even more and finally a couple have managed to make their way to the photography studio and the shop shelf!

This is the first one we've had finished in a colour, the Cairo Blue Holographic sparkle is one of the finest sparkle lacquer finishes available anywhere. Photos will never do it justice, the depth of the sparkle is just incredible.

Over the years Noble and Cooley have made three separate and distinct metal snare drums. The original limited edition Zildjian Alloy Snare was the brainchild of Noble & Cooley and the Zildjian Cymbal Co. Built using the secret Zildjian alloy materials, it has become one of the most prized drums in the collector’s market. Since metal snare drums have been popular with drummers for decades, N&C realised the demand for the drum meant it was time to add an in-house “Alloy Classic” to their line of high-end snare drums. The Alloy Classic has been an incredible success and is recognised as one of the all time great metal snare drums.

In 2019 N&C introduced another metal snare to their line up! The Copper Classic is offered in 6 and 8 inch depths for drummers looking for a dryer tone with a sharp attack. So far this drum has been incredibly well received and we haven't been able to get them quick enough. It's perfect for all sorts of musical applications. We generally feel Copper shells have a more wood like characteristic than that of Brass or Steel. The control and dryness is also very impressive.

The Copper Classic offers all of N&C's famous professional design features such as Brass Tube Lugs, the N&C Brass Throw Off and Cam Action snare wires. These drums ship as standard with 2.3mm Triple Flanged hoops, we also keep N&C Die-Cast hoops in both Chrome and Black Chrome in stock as an optional upgrade for customers wishing to use DieCast hoops.
